Join ITJ at Stone Mountain on July 16 at 8:00 am for our July Training Walk! We will once again be meeting and parking at the Stone Mountain Woman’s Club (thank you to their members for generously opening up their club to us), and will be walking the 5 mile paved path at the base of the mountain. Walkers may choose to walk one loop or two.

The Georgia 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer is an annual fundraising endurance walk that takes place on October 1-2, 2022, and takes participants through 30 miles of Atlanta over the course of 2 days.
With the money from the walk, It’s The Journey, Inc. is able to fund grants that serve over 100 counties in Georgia. These programs provide mammograms, clinical breast exams, genetic counseling and testing, biopsies, support services, education, and much more. Many of our grants have a specific focus on under-served individuals in our community- uninsured and under-insured patients for whom these types of breast health measures are often not available.
Since 2002, the Georgia 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer has funded 465 grants totaling $17.5 million to support breast health programs throughout Georgia.
Walker Registration Information:
2-Day Walker
30 miles over two days, stays in the Atlanta Marriott Marquis
$160 registration fee, $1000 fundraising commitment
Saturday Walker
20 miles on Saturday
$100 registration fee, $750 fundraising commitment
Sunday Walker
10 miles on Sunday
$100 registration, $500 fundraising commitment
Student Walker Rates:
Student 2-Day Walker: $160 registration, $500 fundraising
Student Sunday Walker: $50 registration, $250 fundraising
It’s The Journey’s Survivor Breakfast program continues in 2023 with a new series- Life “After” Breast Cancer. Our expert panel will be discussing life after treatment- fears of recurrence, body image, annual appointments, and so much more.

We’ll be celebrating breast health and breast cancer programs all throughout the state, as we award grants funded by the 2022 Georgia 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer.

Join us as we kick off the 2023 Georgia 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer on Saturday, March 25! We’ll be meeting at Guston’s Grille in Woodstock at 9:00 am for a light breakfast, a 2-Day family rally to get us all inspired for 2023, and our first training walk of the year!
Everyone who RSVPs AND attends Kick Off in person on the 25th will receive a FREE 2-Day t-shirt with an exciting message (to be revealed soon, so keep your eyes peeled)! You must RSVP by February 28 to get the t-shirt and pick it up at the event. No shows = no guaranteed shirt!

Join It’s The Journey for our June training walk at Stone Mountain on Saturday, June 24! The Stone Mountain Woman’s Club has once again generously offered to host us, offering us free parking in their lot (address below).
The training walk is set to begin at 8:00 am, so arrive early to shop our 2-Day Store and to hear a special message from two ITJ grantees about how the funds the 2-Day Walk raises helps them to make a difference!
Route is a 5 mile loop around the paved path at the base of the mountain- attendees can elect to walk one loop or two.
